Poppy Seed Stollen and Poppy Striezel – traditional Stollen dough with a delicious poppy mass
Our Poppy Seed Stollen are the right place for poppy lovers: A minimum amount of poppy seeds, dried fruit, candied lemon peel give and candied orange peel gives the box-shaped Stollen a delicious taste. Our Poppy Seed Stollen is traditionally handmade and baked in a rectangular baking form. A thin dough is wrapped around the juicy poppy filling, which also contains raisins. After baking the Stollen is buttered and sugared. The Dresdner Poppy Seed Stollen has under optimal storage conditions a minimum shelf life of 2 weeks. Our Poppy Seed Stollen is made flesh before shipping. It is available with 1000 and 2000 grams.
The Poppystriezel is made according to an old Silesian recipe. It is improved with an sugar icing and Butter streusel.
