More than half a millennium of wine culture – it is not without pride that one looks back on more than 600 years of history here at the foot of the L\u00f6\u00dfnitz slopes. <\/p><\/div>\n\n

Once a winery and rural retreat of the Wettins, the idyllic, listed site is now a gem of Saxony’s wine cultural landscape and the first producer dedicated entirely to organic farming, producing certified organic Saxon wines and sparkling wines.<\/p>\n\n

Since 1998, the Hofl\u00f6\u00dfnitz Foundation has been cultivating the winegrowing tradition lived here: Saxony’s only winegrowing museum presents visitors with exhibitions on the history and present of regional winegrowing in the historic buildings and on the adjacent open space.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\n\n
