The organically grown Pinot grapes come from the top vineyards in Bechtheim. The red wine mash for the Pinot Noir is fermented spontaneously to emphasize the pure aromas of the soils and vines in these top vineyards in Rheinhessen. The remarkable finesse and harmony of this red wine are also the result of ageing on the lees for three years in barrique barrels. The Pinot Noir from Dreissigacker presents itself as a precise and elegant Rhine-Hessian Pinot. On the nose, we find notes of wild berries, cherries and a hint of cinnamon. Dry on the palate, with a straightforward character and a harmonious triad of density, power and elegance. This wine owes its depth and complexity to its ageing in oak barrels, while the delicate spice and subtle vanilla aromas linger on into the long finish.
